Menu Plan–December 9

It’s a winter wonderland here!  10+ inches on the ground and counting.  It’s absolutely beautiful, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. I’m ready for winter. 

Casseroles.  Soups. Breads.  Oh, and Christmas cookies. 

This week is finals week for the students at my institution; mine are Thursday & Friday.  I’m looking forward to having a week to wrap up the semester and prepare for my food course for January term.  We’ll keep things simple for meals this week:

Whole Wheat Cinnamon Rolls {new}, tea
Veggie-Filled Quesadillas
Chicken Chili {carryover}

To do: Chop veggies

Leftover cinnamon rolls, OJ
Leftover chili
Veggie-Filled Risotto

To do: Prep potatoes for crockpot

Blueberry Lemon Oatmeal Muffins {freezer}
Crockpot Baked Potato Bar

To do: Prep Christmas goodie bags, dice veggies

Granola & Dried Fruit
Lucy’s Chili
Bible Study Christmas Party {treats!}

To do: Dice veggies for soup

Granola & Dried Fruit
Leftover Chili
Roasted Vegetable Minestrone

To do: nothing!

Granola & Dried Fruit
Leftover soup & sandwiches

To do: Nothing!

Clean out the fridge
White Bean Italian Pizza & Roasted Tomato Soup
